Providing Educational Opportunities to Those Who Seek to Work and Serve in a Maryland New Car Dealership.
Committed to remembering those who served Maryland's automobile industry.

Scholarship Opportunity
The Maryland Automobile Dealers Association Foundation [MADAF] is proud to provide educational scholarship to Maryland students seeking to work in the automotive industry.  Founded in 2010, MADAF’s mission is to provide educational benefits to those wishing to pursue career opportunities which will directly benefit the Maryland new car automobile dealership industry.  We have hosted two gala events in the past two years, both of which were successful in raising funds for our program.

Scholarships will be awarded to current students, current dealership employees, and/or  future students pursuing courses with the intent to work in and contribute to the success of a Maryland new car automobile dealership.  Examples of acceptable coursework include an automotive training program, a technical institute program, or general college credit courses designed to serve the Maryland automotive dealership industry.

Applicants for the scholarship may be any student enrolled in the 2017-2018 academic year at a community college, four-year university, or a non-degree post-secondary technical training program.  Applicants should be sponsored by a MADA dealer member in good standing, or have a dealer member as a co-sponsor.  If you are not aware if your local dealer is a MADA member, please contact the Foundation at (800) 526-7423 and we will be happy to assist you in finding an appropriate co-sponsor.

To begin the application process, please download a packet via the link on the right side of the webpage.  A full list of criteria can be found on page 3 of the Application Packet.  The Application Packet also includes a concise list of all required documents, the majority of which are included in the packet.  The deadline to apply is March 31, 2017.  Winners will be notified by mail no later than May 1, 2017.

For further information, please contact Ethel Biensach at the Foundation, (800) 526-7423 or ebiensach@mdauto.org.
